Sealants: Polysulphide & Polyurethane

Polysulphide adhesives and sealants are often used in construction to seal off joints and channels. Polysulphide sealant provides a waterproof seal minimizing the risk of water leaking into an area and causing damage or erosion.

Facade sealant: It is used for external walls. It is used for doors, balconies, roofs, windows, cladding or any other surface area.

Interior finishing: It is used for internal spaces such as root, glass, windows, cupboards, interiors, etc.

Polysulphide sealants are usually formulated as one- or two-component products which are based on sulfur-containing liquid polymers. Because of their excellent resistance to fuel and chemicals, Polysulphide Sealants are widely used for any kind of construction and expansion joints on usual construction sites, for airport construction,various aerospace applications, sewage plants and areas where high chemical properties and UV resistance are required.

Polyurethane sealants are a quick drying and moisture-cured sealant that is used in many industries including building, construction, and the automotive industry. It is generally used for sealing joints in walls and floors. It works well on concrete, and it also seals and bonds fiberglass panels.

Polyurethane sealants with Shore A hardness of 45 and above are referred to as adhesive sealants. They have high surface adhesion and low flexibility. Especially in automotive industry used in the manufacture of vehicles, in the repair of auto glass, in the sealing of metal structures such as containers and trucks, in the manufacture and installation of air conditioning in HVAC systems, in order to reduce vibration and provide sealing in metal sheet joints.

Polyurethane sealant forms a flexible and elastomeric seam on curing. The UV resistant sealant provides excellent adhesion to most of the industrial materials. On curing, it forms a durable waterproof seal, making it the best polyurethane sealant for most applications.
